Even for students who head straight to college after high school, deciding on a major and career path can be challenging. Nyla Cortes shared that after studying fine arts and graphic design, she still didn’t know what she wanted to do.
She continued her studies, and eventually took a job at Excelsior as a program coordinator. She’s now working in marketing at Excelsior and has found her fit! She loves that she gets to be creative and that she gets to do work that aligns with what she studied as part of her master’s degree in business, which she also got from Excelsior.
Nyla says that she appreciates Excelsior students’ focus on their goals. Based on her own experience, she understand that everyone’s different, and being flexible with your career path can help you find your way.
