Join a Conversation About Recent Events

In the wake of recent Supreme Court decisions, state legislations, and the changing demographics and cultural shifts of our nation and globe, we are reminded that we must continuously challenge our assumptions and engage in civil discourse and dialogue about the societal changes around us and their impact in our communities and experience.

The Center for Social Justice looks forward to continuing our community conversation in this regard, to acknowledging our diversity of stories and voices, and to bringing us together as we continue to work and live in an ever-changing world. We must develop environments in which all of us may show up authentically, share our experience and perspective, learn from each other, and thrive. Social Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) are about the inclusion of all of us and the exclusion of none.

We remain committed to providing all students interested in higher education with access to a university degree despite the political environment and with the necessary support for their educational, professional, personal, and intercultural development.

The Center for Social Justice is hosting three recent-events conversations in which we will debrief about recent events and explore strategies to help us process them and continue pursuing our collective goals.
