Excelsior’s Annual Basket Drive is Back! This event is organized by the Community Engagement Committee!
How it Works: Each unit across the Excelsior Community creates a themed basket through unit member item donations. A raffle is held for Excelsior staff to bid on the baskets. Funds raised will benefit the local community from charity sponsor requests. Previous Gift Basket raffles have raised $1,500-2,000 a year for local charities. This allows us to fund events like the Snacks for Students Collection Drive and other events throughout the year in the local community.
Competition: The unit that has the most popular basket based on the number of tickets put in for bids will get to help spend some of the money earned through the basket drive by choosing an organization that matters to them for a directed donation! The winning unit will be provided with a list of organizations within our service buckets and choose the one they would like to donate to. Not only will you help us bring in funds that benefit the community, but you will help us choose the impact! The five buckets are:

Diversity and Inclusion
Veterans/Military
Social and Economic Justice
