Celebrate MLK Day by Joining Excelsior University's Co-facilitation of the 2026 National Day of Racial Healing in St. Petersburg, Florida
As part of our exciting partnership with with the St. Petersburg Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Center, the Excelsior University Center for Social Justice invites you to join us for an inspiring evening of connection, storytelling, and community building. This year’s theme—Dream. Heal. Rise.—invites us to imagine a more just future, deepen our understanding of one another, and celebrate the rich diversity of our community through performance, dialogue, and shared reflection. Come take part in meaningful conversations and uplifting activities that help us heal and grow stronger together.
The National Day of Racial Healing is observed annually on the Tuesday following Martin Luther King Jr. Day. On this day, people across the country gather in homes, schools, workplaces, and community spaces to engage in practices that foster racial healing and advance a more equitable future for all children.
