On September 9, 2026, the Center for Social Justice at Excelsior University’s Florida site was pleased to accept an invitation from Life From Inside Out to connect with members of the community and share information about Excelsior’s academic programs and the resources offered through the Center for Social Justice.
During the presentation, participants learned more about educational pathways available through Excelsior University, as well as the Center’s commitment to expanding access for returning citizens, strengthening community connections, and helping individuals identify opportunities that support their personal, educational, and professional goals.
The conversation also provided an opportunity to listen, exchange ideas, and better understand the needs and experiences of community members. Engagements like this are an important part of the Center for Social Justice’s work to bring education beyond the classroom and build meaningful partnerships with organizations serving the St. Petersburg community.
Excelsior looks forward to continuing its collaboration with community partners such as Life From Inside Out and creating additional opportunities to connect reentry efforts in the Tampa Bay area with education, resources, and pathways toward a stronger future.
