You Matter to Excelsior University

The United States continues to navigate significant changes in its government, politics, and culture.  We know that many in our Excelsior and broader communities are impacted by these shifts and actions.

Excelsior University deeply values all backgrounds and perspectives of our students, faculty and staff, in our communities, and throughout the nation. A diverse range of points of view, experiences, ideas, and skills is essential to our effective problem solving, innovating, and thriving in classrooms, boardrooms, and all spaces in between.

Now more than ever, Excelsior University remains committed to community, access, dialogue, and collaboration. We firmly believe that all people have the right to pursue economic, social, educational, and professional opportunities, and we recognize that all people do not have equal access to or the necessary support for these opportunities.

We invite you to reach out to the Center for Social Justice and join us for democratic engagement dialogue sessions or for recent events conversations, focused on facilitating important discussions and sharing our experiences. Upcoming recent events conversations will be held on February 3 and 15 at 3 p.m. ET, and a democratic engagement dialogue session hosted in recognition of Black History Month is planned for February 19 at 3 p.m. ET. Visit communities.excelsior.edu for more information on these and future sessions.

At Excelsior, we seek to leverage our collective intelligence, interdisciplinary thinking, and collaborative decision-making in order to serve our students and support our Excelsior and broader communities to the best of our capacities.
