To commemorate Veterans Day, the Center for Social Justice and the Military & Veterans and Civic Engagement Rope Teams hosted retired Lt. Col. Kent A. D. Clark ’10, a member of the Excelsior University Board of Trustees.
Clark discussed the loyalties service members have toward the Constitution and the United States, their military units/organizations, and to each other. He also talked about the contributions of veterans during peacetime, conflict, and humanitarian events.

About Kent A. D. Clark
Retired Lt. Col. Kent A. D. Clark is the founder of the Clark Advisory Group LLC and CAG Federal. The Clark Advisory Group’s primary focus is business optimization services and consulting, information technology, and logistics. He is a global operational executive with expertise leading complex businesses in strategy, finance, and logistics. Clark also serves as the chair and CEO of CAG Federal, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). He previously served as the CEO and executive director of AMVETS National Service Foundation, one of the largest and oldest veterans service organizations in the United States.
During his military career, Clark established a strong background in strategic, operational, and tactical logistics, strategic planning, special operations, and resource management. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force, Air War College. His military decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Purple Heart Medal, Special Forces Tab, Combat Action Badge, and many other Joint/Campaign and Army Service Awards.
Clark has a strong academic foundation with a post-graduate certificate in legislative studies and a master’s degree in public policy management, both from Georgetown University. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Excelsior University (then Excelsior College).
